Our aim during the design of MyStiC2 was to achieve a really high degree of performance, to get a sweet handling... and to keep it all within the EN D class. When released to the ex-USSR market M2 did not yet have the EN label, but it quickly got a reputation of extremely docile and safe wing.
Some months passed, and we got the official homologation results from EN testlab. O God we were wrong! Our plan about getting into EN D failed... but what a sweet fail! M2-26 got not EN D but EN C!
Now we are completely perplexed. The real high-performance glider with excellent glide, superb handling and nice speed got the EN label which pushes it towards the "sport class" market... Take care guys: the safety is more than okay but the turn and flying abilities of M2 are not suitable for noobs!
EN C label means M2 has currently the world's highest A.R. in this class: 6.5. A great but unattended achievment!
We congratulate all happy owners of M2 and wish them long, high and safe flying!
