WavE is our new all-around ram air foil kite with valves on the air inlets. We started designing WavE as a closed cell foil for kite surfing, but WavE flyers soon found it to be a great ATB engine. We like how it flies so much that we developed an open cell version for those planning to keep their feet dry.
WavE has an easy launching behavior and gives smooth, well-controlled power over a wide wind range. The sophisticated drain system efficiently drops the water taken by the kite and ensures the easy re-launch from the water. WavE, with its almost instinctive control of speed, direction, and power, is sure to please and excite all but the most jaded pilots.
WavE has a calm and comfortable character. Like all Sky Country wings, it has high resistance to collapse, so in turbulent wind WavE will not bowtie and become a heap of laundry. WavE comes standard with an Ozone bar, with its effective de-power and trusted release systems.
As Wave has no bladders, it flies in much lower winds than heavier LEI kites. In low winds it's perfect for beginners learning kite control on land and, when the learning period is over, power up in bigger wind. With five sizes that are available, there is one just right for you.
