MuSCat2 is our new paraglider for novices and improvers. It has received high praise from instructors who upgraded from our much loved original MuSCat. MuSCat2, with its increased passive safety margin and enhanced performance, is sure to find its way into paragliding schools around the world.
A well proven traditional design is used in Muscat2. All internal ribs are connected to the lines. Large air intakes make launching MuSCat2 simple even for novices and provide a high degree of passive safety. MuSCat makes a great motorglider. Its specially designed risers allow you to get speeds above 55 km/h. With the upper sail made of Gelvenor, MuSCat2 can take all the abuse students can throw at it.
MuSCat - a story of success
The original Muscat came in sizes from 15 to 45 square meters. Designed for beginners, Muscat proved itself in flying schools across eastern Europe. Its excellent launch characteristics and a particularly forgiving behavior instantly made it a hit with students and instructors alike. Even though Muscat was originally designed as a beginner paraglider, its excellent flight character made it a success with experienced pilots and helped them win the hearts of judges and audiences in many Ukrainian and international competitions, including an aerobatics competition in Oludeniz, Turkey.
