SCorpion3 - is a development of SCorpion-2 ideas - its a paraglider with the same a/r and similar flying performance. Designing the new wing, we tried to get rid of the shortcomings predecessor, retaining his dignity. Scorpion-3 starts much better in calm - thanks to increased air intakes and reduced canopy weight - now only front part of the upper surface is made from Gelvenor. The rear part of the upper surface is made of Skytex with E77A finish - generally it is more sturdy fabric compared to classic Skytex. New paraglider is better in control, and feels like more rigid by pilot. Like its predecessor, Scorpion-3 behaves excellently at high speeds (with accelerator applied) - the front edge remains stiff and tight.Scorpion-3 has maximum speed more than 55 kmph. D-ribs design was also changed - now there are solid details, instead of several parts. Such a solution improves the total quality of canopy surface.
Safety first and foremost
The high level of security of the wing confirmed with EN C certificate (for size 26). C marks - only for asymmetric collapse while accelerator applied and for exiting a deep spiral with maximum gross weight. We recommend Scorpion-3 for pilots having at least 70 flying hours.
