Mystic is a first class, high performance wing. It is the ultimate expression of aeronautical theory and our experience in glider design. From the first prototypes we were positive this wing would prove itself, and the production wings have surpassed our expectations.
Mystic with its radical performance, excellent turning capability, and good passive safety is an ideal choice for the ambitious XC or competition flyer. At speeds in the 45-50 km/h range , Mystic competes with the best of the Open Class competition wings. Mystic's amazing high speed stability allows for aggressive use of the speed bar even in rough turbulence. With a maximum speed over 60 km/h, Mystic is a very impressive, fast, high performance machine that excels even when your flying in small scrappy thermals. Combine all this with: a very low sink rate; long brake travel (yes, really long, about 70 cm!); SkyCounty's ever present easy handling; and incredible resistance to collapse, you know this is going to be fun.
Advanced construction
Mystic, with its high (6.37) aspect ratio is going to be one of the ribbons in the sky even when flying with other high performance gliders, but Mystic's elegant design means that in flight it can be felt only by its brilliant performance. The high wingload and sophisticated inner structure with inner compression straps ensure high tension, solidity and stability even at high speeds in turbulence .
Due to the partially closed leading edge and to the elliptical air intakes MyStiC has both the perfect state of the leading edge at maximal speed and excellent takeoff behaviour. The leading edge is so rigid at max speed that EN test-pilots even had problems to collapse it! You may fly at maximal speed even in rough conditions, MyStiC allows it.

In spite of its sporty character the MyStiC is solid and durable. We used the combined top surface: the durable Gelvenor fabric for the leading edge and the light Skytex fabric for the rest of the wing. The unsheated Competition lines are availabe as option: we use the new Vectran lines which combine the longevity of Dyneema and the dimensional stability of Superaram lines.

The new graphics design
Often when you see a beautiful wing design, it comes with a sacrifice of engineering efficiency. It is not the case for Mystic. Our new Claw graphic design allows us to use the stronger, more durable, but heavier fabric only for the most highly loaded parts the glider.
Safety first
MyStiC passed the EN pretests with the D result. The D mark was obtained in only two tests. With like these results, Mystic is very safe for a high performance glider.
